ELECTRIC ARENA: ZATCH BELL Bandai’s Game Boy Advance fighting game extends the original tale of the anime characters, allowing players to battle it out in various ways. The anime and comic book plot focuses on a group of mystical alien-like creatures known as the mamodos who have come to Earth to battle for their world’s throne. The only drawback is that they must employ humans to cast their formidable powers. Kiyo, a fourteen-year-old human, and Zatch, a mamodo kid, are the central protagonists. The game allows users to play as a variety of different characters and in a variety of modes. Like playing the air, this provides a variation that will keep players immersed in the game’s environment for lengthy periods, but one of the modes allows for a link-up to fight it out multiplayer style. A team of players competes against another team in a simple two-dimensional setting, similar to fighter games from the past. A team must win two out of three matches to win, and while the human character is the only one who may suffer damage, the two characters must constantly move together. Fans of the characters will quickly get reacquainted with the characters and tale, while novices to the series will enjoy learning about it with ZATCH BELL: ELECTRIC ARENA.
