Anata wo Yurusanai

Ririko Takeuchi is a private investigator who entered the field more by happenstance than by deliberate decision. Her father, Takeo Takeuchi, is a former law enforcement officer who established a private investigation agency after purchasing a defunct kindergarten. Depending on the cases, players taking on the role of Ririko will be tailing suspects, searching for clues, and engaging in what is arguably the most vital activity for any investigator: several internal monologues. Reading text and occasionally influencing the progression of the plot is the primary activity of Anata o Yurusanai, a visual novel (also referred to as a “sound novel”). The PSP is held vertically rather than horizontally when playing the game, giving the impression that the characters are being drawn in a comic book.
