FromSoftware is responsible for creating the mecha video game Armored Core: Formula Front, which Agetec published. The PlayStation Portable was introduced in Japan with this game as the debut title. The game was altered for the American market and distributed under Armored Core: Formula Front – Intense Combat. As the newly recruited architect for a team that has just made it into Formula Front’s Bottom League, the player has been responsible for building and equipping the team’s ACs to fight against those other qualifying players in the Bottom League have fielded. The player is responsible for deciding whether the ACs in their upcoming bouts should be operated personally by themselves or by an AI instead, both of which are viable options. Each approach presents its own one-of-a-kind set of obstacles. In the version of the game released in Japan, the AI took control of the mechas. However, the version released in the United States featured manual control; for the re-release of the game in Japan, which will be given the Armored title Core: Formula Front International, the manual controls, any previously discovered bugs, and any previously unreleased material will be included.
