Bara no Ki ni Bara no Hanasaku

It is the beginning of the Showa era, which coincides with the beginning phases of World War II. There are several prestigious guys’ boarding schools in Japan. Students study subjects such as mathematics, science, philosophy, and the German language at these institutions. They do this in the hopes of making a future for themselves, and in their leisure time, they partake in activities like drinking and pursuing women.
