Clannad Hikari Mimamoru Sakamichi de Joukan

This release is the first out of two volumes (featuring the first 8 out of 16 overall short episodes), and Hikari Mimamoru Sakamichi de (光見守る坂道で), is a linear visual novel featuring full voice-acting (for dialogues and descriptions alike). It tells eight stories from the world of Clannad that were not covered in the anime series or the original game. Episodes can be played in any order, and the game is made in a visual, sound novel style. Each episode is divided into chapters, and players can skip forward or backward within those chapters. However, the story’s pace cannot be changed, and the fact that dialogue and descriptions are fully voiced means there is no way to skip ahead by simply pressing a button, as is the case with regular visual novels.
