Players of Dead End will take control of some high school students and battle society’s new favorite villain. This game is designed to capitalize on the current worldwide fascination with vampires. The gameplay is structured like that of a choose-your-own-adventure book. Do you recall those? The players spend the majority of the game hopping from one “paragraph” to the next in the narrative, where each action in the game (such as “Go left” or “Open the door”) is represented by a numbered “paragraph” in the narrative. This indicates several possible story paths and that a player could play through the game multiple times without ever seeing all of the plot content. You’ll also be able to solve riddles within the game by moving from paragraph to paragraph in rapid succession. Dice are rolled during battles within the game, and different numbers on the dice correspond to various attacks and abilities, both for the player and the adversary.
