FIFA Soccer 08

FIFA Soccer 08 is the fourth entry in the soccer franchise to appear on the PSP, and it is another yearly update. It improves on the previous year’s edition by adding new leagues and teams, updated rosters, and new gameplay modes while keeping all the existing features. The team roster is the same as on other platforms, with the addition of Australian, Czech, and Irish leagues for 30 national associations, 20 clubs from the rest of the world, and 43 international teams. Friendlies, manager mode, tournaments, wi-fi multiplayer, challenges (updated for the new season), and the mini-games Juggling and Wall Attack are all returning. Off-season friendly matches are now available in Manager mode. The Interactive Leagues mode debuted in the previous year’s console version and made its PSP debut in this game. It allows players to compete in real-life matches for their favorite club against other players. The ability to create custom formations is another new feature. Football IQ, a trivia quiz mode, is an entirely new mode. It includes trivia questions with a field diagram next to them. Correct answers move the ball forward on the field, eventually putting it in the goal, while incorrect answers move it backward, allowing the opposing team to score. The quiz has several levels, beginning with questions about local clubs and progressing to other leagues.
