Fight Night Round 3

Fight Night Round 3 is the third installment of the EA boxing (sports) franchise and the first PSP boxing game. Create a customized boxer and compete against opponents in one-time or career-mode matches. Career modes place you at the start of your professional boxing career, pitting you against increasing rank and skilled fighters. You rank as a prominent title fighter by training and winning matches. This version of the game marks the franchise’s debut on the PSP. The ‘Total Control’ system is altered while the same moves and haymaker punches remain. Through wireless ad-hoc and infrastructure connectivity, the PSP version also introduces a two-player competition. Fight Night Round 3 for PSP also includes Rival Challenges game modes that allow you to replay or change historic boxing matches in exchange for money and equipment upgrades. These fights allow you to take on the roles of legendary fighters such as Muhammad Ali, Oscar De La Hoya, and Joe Frazier… There is also a game mode called My History, in addition to Repeat History and Change History. These matches require you to overcome specific boxing moments unique to your opponent’s fighting style. Unlike the major console versions, it also includes ranked boxer lists, promotor box office takes, statistics tracking, and cutman and trainer contracts.
