Higurashi Daybreak Portable

Higurashi Daybreak is a four-player team-based beat them up game. When Rika was sweeping the stairs outside the Furude shrine one day, a box containing a pair of magical magatama (as seen in the final episode of Higurashi no Naku Koro ni Rei) fell from the sky and hit her in the head. Rika brings them to school, and after the club tests them on Chie and Irie, they decide to fight for ownership of the magatama, involving the entire village. Each character in the anime and early visual novel games has two special weapons associated with the symbol (Keiichi has his baseball bat, and Rena has her meat cleaver). The game includes both a story mode and a “combat mode.” In story mode, three story lines (and teams) are available from the start, with four more to be unlocked. In “combat mode,” you choose which characters to battle, then configure the environment and game options, and then it’s fight time.
