“It all started when we broke down that shrine.” Sugano Fuu is a first-year student at Tsukiyado High School. As part of their club activities, she, her upperclassman Norizuki, and her classmate Hirose agreed to examine the “Seven Mysteries of Tsukiyado” one day. They were squandering time because it wasn’t an intriguing research topic. “Ah, there is a strange shrine at our school, isn’t there?” Why don’t we go look into it?” They went to look into it in such noncommittal manner. Hamura and Kuga were waiting at the shrine. They weren’t exactly friends with those two; they were more like strangers. The investigation began with a quick welcome. The shrine was quite old, and the door wouldn’t open even though it wasn’t locked. It appeared to be rusted shut, and when they tried to pry the doors open, they immediately shattered. They noticed “something” amid the filth. As they stared blankly at that “something,” smoke began to flow out. “What if it’s a poison gas!!” They flung the “something” as far as they could with all their might. Despite this, they were still shrouded in the smoke emanating from that “something.” They were converted into frogs before they knew it.
