King’s Field: Additional II

A storm sweeps over Verdite, stealing the valuable Moonlight Sword and spreading evil throughout the region. Players assume the role of Lyle, the king’s son, on his adventure to find the Moonlight Sword and save the country and his father. Unfortunately, the king succumbed to the subsequent corruption, and Lyle must now gain magical powers from the kingdom’s four best mages to fulfill his quest. King’s Field II is a role-playing action game in the first person. Despite the number in the title, it is the third game in the series, originally titled King’s Field III. The game’s events occur fifteen years after its predecessor’s events. It plays similarly to the previous versions, with enormous linked areas open for exploration and various foes to destroy with weapons and magic. The game’s globe is broader than previous games, with more open-air sections and villages with friendly NPCs. Unique crystals are necessary to become adept in any of the disciplines of magic.
