Littlewitch Parfait: Kuroneko Mahouten Monogatari

Parfait Sucreal is a teenage witch in training who runs a potion shop called Black Cat Market with her mother and Parfait’s black cat, Sakemas, who can miraculously talk. Her mother died of an illness a year before the start of this game; her father was a legendary magician who died while defending the kingdom when Parfait was young. In the beginning, Parfait introduces herself and informs the player that she is on the verge of losing her beloved shop (the only relic of her mother) because Parfait must pay a debt of 1,000,000G (gold) within 12 months to keep the shop open. As a regular establishment, the Black Cat Market appears to have no chance of becoming famous. The player’s goal is to pay off this debt within a year by putting cauldron-made potions on store counters for clients, collecting potion orders at the end of the day, and selling potions on the street. Parfait’s levels will climb (up to six stars) when she obtains more experience through studying in the library or inventing potions, allowing her to succeed more in high-leveled potions. Many locations may result in encounters with other important characters, the fates of whom the player must decide by motivating Parfait.
