Monster Hunter Diary Poka Poka Airou Village (Monhan Nikki Poka Poka Air Mura?) is a spin-off installment in the Monster Hunter series developed by FromSoftware and published by Capcom for the PlayStation Portable. Monster Hunter Diary Poka Airou Village was originally titled Monster Hunter Diary: Poka Poka Airou Village. On August 26, 2010, it was made available to the public in Japan. The Japanese word air is the same as the English word feline, which refers to a fictional kind of intelligent cat appearing in all Monster Hunter video games. Instead of directly controlling the kittens, the player issues directives so they can progress through the various objectives. Compared to the more realistic art style used in past Monster Hunter games, this one has a considerably more cartoonish approach to its visual presentation. More of an emphasis is being made on the way that the town is managed. This game also has a few Hello Kitty-themed goods up for grabs.
