The video game NumBlast is a puzzle game that tells the narrative of two Japanese students named Aoyama and Akasaka, who discovered a cube-shaped relic called the NumBlast. During Aoyama’s research on the artifact, an unfortunate event leads the artifact to release a magical explosion, transforming Akasaka into a monkey. The NumBlast riddles must be solved to change Akasaka into a human successfully. The game’s objective is to eliminate all the numbered spaces on the playing board, which can be accomplished by rearranging the numbers to form four groups within squares, measuring two by two. This causes the numbers to explode, and the game continues until the board is entirely free of digits. You can play in one of three game modes: Endless, Time Trial, or Puzzle Mode. Endless mode has you detonating numbers until the board is clear, while Time Trial mode offers you three minutes to obtain the most excellent possible score. Puzzle mode challenges you to finish the board within a set number of rotations.
