Patapon 3

Patapon 3 is the direct continuation of Patapon and Patapon 2. It continues the predecessor’s gameplay by guiding the Patapon army to their fate in battle by beating the Pon, Pata, Chaka, and Don holy drums in time with the music to give the Patapon commands. Instead of the all-powerful Patapon god, the player takes on the role of an Uberhero and can team up with other Uberheroes in multiplayer. The player resurrects one of three Patapon heroes at the start of the game: Taterazay, the shield hero; Yumiyacha, the bow hero; and Yarida, the spear hero. As the Mighty One’s avatar, the resurrected hero will lead the army. Instead of squad units, the military comprises the Superhero Patapon and three other teams, Ton, Chin, and Kan, who are the disciples of the three Patapon heroes. Each team has customizable skills and equipment and levels up by completing quests and gaining experience points. The Superhero also wears a mask, which can be changed by acquiring other shows, which grant him different abilities. Every level can now be played in co-op mode with up to 8 players. The new Pata-Text function allows players to communicate with one another.
