Zippangu is a universe that appears in Tengai Makyou and is modeled around how Westerners imagine Japan to be. This series includes Tengai Makyou Ziria, in which the hero faces up against Daimonkyou, a militarized religious organization; its sequel, which shows the conflict between the fire tribe and the root tribe; and a spinoff titled Fuun Kabukiden, which stages in both Japan and London and blends Kabuki with warfare. All of these installments are part of the same series.
