The Navy SEALs are invading the PSP for a second covert campaign, guiding handheld owners through 14 non-linear missions with dynamically changing objectives. Commanders lead a two-person team across various terrain types to gain “command equity” and “local influence” through successful stealth and tactical operations. Players will earn points to spend on weapons or military support through supply drops and air strikes by rescuing civilians, completing goals, and discovering bonus objectives. The local populace can also provide black market equipment and intelligence, increasing the SEAL team’s chances of success. Fireteam Bravo 2 includes wireless support for up to 16 players in both Ad-hoc and Infrastructure modes, making it a must-have for fans of the SOCOM series. This sequel introduces three new game types, including a capture-the-flag variant, and users can now create custom tournaments, ladders, and clan challenges. Fireteam Bravo 2 also includes an improved friends list and instant messaging to make it easier to find worthy teammates and opponents. As with the first PSP title, owners of the PS2 version can link the two games to unlock special features in both SOCOM titles.
