Street Supremacy is a handheld version of the Tokyo Xtreme Racer universe, featuring races on 15 different Tokyo streets and 25 authentic high-end model cars that are fully customizable, allowing you to change everything from the engine to the muffler. The game’s primary mode is “Team Rumble,” which requires the player to join a clique before racing in a series of events. Winning these events earns the player’s team that “territory,” giving them control of that area. Rival racers can also be recruited to the player’s “clique” by draining their “Spirit Points” by smashing them into walls, guardrails, and other cars; once depleted, they will join the player’s “clique.” Players race not only against rival teams but also against their own in “ranking battles,” in which a five-car race determines the “clique’s” rankings. By winning these races, the player can move up the rankings, eventually becoming the team leader, and if they are defeated, they will become the team leader of their group. There is also a “Time-Attack” mode in which players must complete a race in a certain amount of time, and players can battle online using the Ad-Hoc mode.
