You were traveling along a sandy road that led to Strangetown when suddenly, a flash caused you to lose your vision. You hear your wheel popping out and see smoke rising from the engine when your vehicle collides with something sharp. You have no choice but to hand over the keys to your car to Oscar, a mechanic who hails from Strangetown. He will take care of it. As you are now trapped in this town, it is up to you to explore it, engage in conversation with the locals, and immerse yourself in the supernatural realm. The gameplay in the PSP version combines elements of the more traditional Sims 2 gameplay with an adventure. In the same vein as the PC version, you can customize your character. To bring your character’s life goals and personality qualities to fruition, you must complete a sequence of tasks, and you can’t forget about the everyday ones (eating, showering, etc.). You also have access to a Sanity Checker, and it is your responsibility to keep it high if you do not want your character to lose their mind. In addition, there are several minigames, such as a whack-a-mole-style game in which you try to knock zombies’ heads off or a game in which you try to make friends with another Sim.
