Yoshikawa Itsuki, a child prodigy who works as a prosecutor, wakes up in Hades after being thrown off a skyscraper. In this chapter, Yama, the judge of human souls, approaches Yoshikawa and asks for his assistance with several unresolved cases. When judging human souls, Yama typically peruses a record of human actions known as the Akasha. However, in some situations, Yama cannot determine who committed a crime just by reading the Akasha. Because of this, Yoshikawa’s intellect is essential. It is up to him to decipher the Akasha and determine who is responsible. Yama has made him the offer that he will bring him back to the world of living if he cooperates with him.
