Ys vs. Sora no Kiseki: Alternative Saga

The game centers on a showdown between Falcom’s two primary properties, Ys and Sora no Kiseki, and involves cameos from a cast of characters from both series. The game’s story mode is comparable to those seen in other fighting games of the same genre. The player follows a character’s story as they progress through the game’s several levels, where they encounter and battle various enemies on their way to the character’s epilogue. However, unlike other games, the conflicts in Ys Seven use an overhead display of fighting, providing the player with a wider variety of combat capabilities specific to those of a role-playing game (RPG).
