Monster Rancher Advance 2 allows users to design, train, and battle their creatures. To build distinct monsters, keywords are entered. Each word submitted will generate a unique monster that will only emerge when that phrase is inputted. Players can try out a variety of sentences to see what happens. Two different monsters can be joined using specific equipment to create an entirely new monster. Certain combinations will result in hidden, uncommon creatures that cannot be gotten via the standard monster-generating method. The Monster Rancher Advance Coaching System has been vastly upgraded for greater depth in the sequel. Specific monster coaches will provide special training sessions that other monster coaches will not be able to deliver, depending on the kind of monster. These specialized training sessions can be highly demanding and risky, but they can provide significant benefits. The charm and talents of a monster will also be essential considerations in determining whether or not it is appropriate to be a good instructor. Coaches will now detect and alert you to cautions that your breeding assistance may have missed.
