An Italian company called Raylight Studios created a playable tech demo of Resident Evil 2 on the GameBoy Advance 2003. The demo’s main goal was to demonstrate the range of features that the Blue Roses engine offers. Capcom rejected the idea because, at this point, the company had lost interest in the likelihood of GameBoy conversions becoming well-liked. Consequently, the proposal was not accepted.
