Bomberman: Panic Bomber

It’s a puzzle game with “falling blocks” based on the Bomberman series. The competition aims to defeat your opponent by filling their gameplay space with things. You accomplish this by triggering chains of bombs to burst, releasing useless rubble onto your opponent’s field, which they must afterward remove. Bombs are obtained by destroying chains of three identical blocks. Bombs can only be detonated by an explosion from a lit bomb, which regularly descends from the top of the screen. If the player causes enough damage, they will ultimately win a gigantic bomb, clearing a large amount of debris from the playing area and causing a lot of trouble for their opponent. The regular story mode of the game centers around Bomberman’s search for the Golden Bomber statue. During his journey, he encounters strange characters, such as Drifty, the balloon, and Cecil, the tiger. However, the only thing gained through this mode is a more challenging difficulty level, which can be obtained by completing the whole tale at the “hard” level. A password system saves the player’s progress.
