Gift: Prism

The GGift is a narrative about Amami Haruhiko, a high school student closely connected to Gift’s enigmatic ability. The village of Narasaki-chou, where Gift’s story takes place, is distinguished by two features: a rainbow that appears eternally fixed in the sky regardless of the weather and an ability known as Gift that is shared by all of its inhabitants. Each individual can only access a gift’s power once in a lifetime and can only provide one miracle. A Gift must represent the shared feelings of both the giver and receiver to succeed. If the sentiments are not mutual, the Gift becomes warped and potentially devastates the surrounding environment. When this occurs, a dark streak appears in the rainbow over town until Gift is used correctly. Haruhiko’s younger sister, Fukamine Riko, returns home after being away for several years. Haruhiko’s life changes quickly after her entrance, and old feelings resurface.
