Hatsune Miku: Project DIVA Extend is a PlayStation Portable rhythm game released in 2011 by Sega and Crypton Future Media. The game is an expansion to the 2010 video game Hatsune Miku: Project DIVA 2nd, and it was released in Japan on November 10, 2011, with no international release. The game, like the original, relies heavily on Vocaloids, a series of singing synthesizer software, and the songs created by these vocaloids, most notably the virtual diva Vocaloid Hatsune Miku. Hatsune Miku: Project DIVA Dreamy Theater Extend, a companion game to previous games in the series, was released on the PlayStation 3 on September 13, 2012, with improved visuals and support for stereoscopic 3D for the first time in the series.
