Lumines II

The puzzle-based video game Lumines was incredibly addicting, and its successor, Lumines II, is called just that. The players take control of squares constructed from four individual block pieces placed on the playing field one at a time to make squares of the same color. The horizontal “timeline” moves from left to right across the playing field, erasing any yards on the field with the same color as it passes over them. The game is over when the stack of blocks with mismatched sides reaches the top of the screen on which it is being played. You must go through several, each featuring its musical theme and sound effects.
