Megamind: The Blue Defender is a 3D character action game with exploration, puzzle solving, and the ability to collect/swap features. Megamind is the inspiration behind the game. The player takes on the role of Megamind, a supervillain bent on exacting vengeance on Metroman. A terrible crime wave sweeps the city just as Megamind has become our new Mega Hero. The Doom Syndicate and their Doom Goons have surfaced and are attempting to seize control! They’ve infiltrated Megamind’s lair, and Hal has turned into “Blue” Titan. Unfortunately, Hal has acquired Megamind’s and Metroman’s essence due to an error. Megamind must once again purge the city of crime to gather clues that will lead him to Titan. The player gets to destroy, shoot, and punch his or her way through a town populated by goons and members of the Doom Syndicate with an armory of weapons. Against adversaries, the player can use a variety of powers. Megamind must gain skills, explore, and solve puzzles in addition to shooting to reach the finish of each level. The player spends most of their time-fighting ex-creation robots and other adversaries, which is a significant component of the game. The player will also encounter bosses at regular intervals throughout the game who will require a different approach. Each enemy has a unique theme, and defeating them requires more than running and gunning. Megamind’s skills are obtained by discovering and unlocking new weaponry hidden throughout the stages. Each weapon can activate particular objects in the levels, opening additional paths and collectibles. The player must replay each level several times to find all items and begins the game.
