Tales of the World: Radiant Mythology

A “devourer” seeks to consume Terresia’s mana and leave it barren. Although the inhabitants are unaware, this results from the actions of two entities known as Widdershin and Aurora, who are descended from other worlds. As a last resort, the world’s life-giving tree (the World Tree) uses the last of its power to create a defender – the player’s character. The hero discovers the danger to this world’s World Tree after being awakened by a strange creature named Mormo, whose world was destroyed by the same threat. When the player hears a scream, he rushes to find out that a soldier is attacking a girl. After saving the girl, she introduces herself as Kannono, a member of the Ad Libitum organization. This guild seeks to aid the world’s people by combating injustice and oppression. With no other leads, the player and Mormo joined Ad Libitum, hoping to learn more about the devourer’s location.
